i would fall to sleep instantly if I let myself but something inside of me really doesnt want to sleep. Im hooked on etsy and cant stop looking through the site and checking my emails and doing craft based things over the web. I have to get up at 6am tomorrow to catch a train to paris with my folks but i just cant tear myself away from the screen. Theres icecream in the fridge but I am resisting. I think I might feature another etsy seller on my blog because there is so much wonderfulness out there that needs to be shared.

Please if you are reading my blog let me know. Id like to think that someone other than myself was getting kicks out of my writing.

Its only 12:30am but it feels like it should be 3. I could probably still go to sleep now and wake up at the proper hour in order to catch the train at 6. who knows. we will see.

Ive been collecting loads of odds and ends along brick lane and other thrift stored and markets and cant wait to turn them in to beautiful works of art to wear on your body. my latest is a puzzle brooch. keep yourself tuned in.

MY FIRST SALE!!!!!

I am so overjoyed right now as I have finally sold a one of my boot necklaces!!!! It was ever so exciting wrapping it up and putting it in an envelope and sending it all the way to CANADA! I cant believe just one little thing could make me so excited and so fantastic and so brilliant!

i know my next sale is going to make me feel just as great and I cant wait for that time!

hip hop happy easter

I have just arrived home from a wonderuflly relaxing and indulgent easter weekend in the east of sussex. Since easter is a holiday and holidays are usually about eating and over indulging I decided to go wild.

Fondue and raclette for dinner in the same evening was a pretty full on way to start the celebrations but it only set the line for what would follow. I think over the course of the weekend I ate french apple flan, tarte au citron, spiced apple cake, berry cheesecake, cheese, cheese, cheese and cheese.

Im a bit cheesed out now but still feel as though I could eat more.

Ive just sold my first piece of jewellery on my online shop http://www.littlemonarch.etsy.com/ and i am over the moon. Its really made me want to keep putting my creations up for sale and to keep going for it!

Since I am still in holiday mode (I go to Cornwall tomorrow with my parents who are visiting from NZ) I wont have any new items online until the end of april but there are still some lovely telephone earrings and all my greeting cards ready to be given to someone special.
