collections

As a museums person it is natural for me to love collections, lists and catalogues. I thought today I would share with you a few of the things I collect. Most of my collections are small in size but big in meaning. To some my collections make one big pile of junk but for me it is my life played out in objects.

Some of the things I collect

Queen Elizabeth memorabilia

perfumes

greeting cards

pretty crockery

what are some of the things you collect?

  1. Gorgeous presentation in these pictures.

I collect pretty crockery on and off, and I certainly am a perfume girl, a lot of my money goes that way..

My main collections are postcards and nun dolls. I'm just kind of nun-obsessed.

I collect snow globes and nesting dolls. My collections aren't very large either but they do mean a lot to me.

  6. wow, I love your blog (definitely going to follow you) and I love all these things you have collected. I have the No. 5 Chanel perfume but it's a mini one. I want the Chloe one, and Marc Jacobs Daisy. I have collected a few tea and coffee cups and saucers and glass bottles. ut I don't know what I'll do with them so they might end up in the recycling bin lol. opefully I can find a good use for them. xXx

  7. oh i love thrifting! i collect vintage jewelry, tin boxes and (as you'd guess) tea cups. i go to yard sales every weekend, it's always so much fun! i came across a family of nice older italian ladies who were clearing out their closets where i was able to purchase a lot of nice silk pillowcases, a vintage coffee cup set, a lace dress and some italian shoes from italy. they were so sweet! xoxo (sorry for the long winded response, hehe)

  8. Weird question but is that fabric a sheet? Looks exactly like sheets I had when I was little. And now I feel all nostalgic.
